We are having a requirement for a leading University in Chennai for a Professor Visual Communications.

Subjects

Specialization Areas (preferred but not limited to)

Film & Television Production
Advertising & Brand Communication
Journalism & New Media
Photography & Cinematography- theory
Graphic Design & Animation - no
Media Research & Media Laws
Digital Media & Interactive Communication

Key Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Communication.
Supervise student projects, internships, and research work.
Produce scholarly research and publications in reputed journals.
Contribute to creative works such as films, documentaries, advertising campaigns, or design projects.
Engage in curriculum development, innovation, and accreditation processes.
Establish collaborations with industry, media houses, and creative agencies.
Organize workshops, exhibitions, and media productions to enhance student learning.

Qualification

Masters degree in visual communication / mass communication / journalism / fine arts / media studies or allied discipline (mandatory).
UGC/AICTE/Institutional norms applicable.
Ph.d will be added advantage
