Repair and maintenance operative

• Maintaining Medical Equipment:This involves routine maintenance, inspections, cleaning, calibration, and addressing malfunctions.
• Repairing Equipment:Troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment, including X-ray machines, CAT scanners, dialysis machines, ventilators, and more.
• Building Maintenance:Ensuring the proper functioning of the hospital's infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Preventive Maintenance:Implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Compliance:Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Communication:Communicating effectively with hospital staff and other departments regarding maintenance needs, schedules, and issues.
• Budget Management:Tracking expenses and overseeing the maintenance budget.
• Training and Supervision:May be responsible for training new technicians or supervising maintenance staff.
• Preventive Maintenance: Regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Corrective Maintenance: Repairing equipment that has malfunctioned.
• Predictive Maintenance: Using data and analysis to predict potential equipment failures.
