Job Summary: Chargebee is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Renewal Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Renewal Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing satisfaction and retention of our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will involve managing the renewal process, fostering strong customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful renewals. Roles and Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary contact to develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for medium to large account contract renewals, optimizing contract terms while enhancing customer trust. - Manage the renewals process in collaboration with the account team to ensure successful and on-time renewals before the contract end date. - Present renewal proposals and options to customers, notifying them of upcoming contract expirations. - Collaborate with various teams to develop clear renewal strategies for each customer based on data-driven decisions. - Provide rapid responses to customer and Customer Success Manager (CSM) requests, addressing sales processing procedures effectively. - Identify customer requirements, address roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management skills to drive renewals to on-time closure. - Secure and validate renewal orders, maximizing renewal and up-selling opportunities while ensuring timely order processing. - Engage with supporting functional teams to resolve customer issues related to sales deeds. - Maintain a rolling 120-day forecast of renewals in your territory, communicating any uncovered risks for resolution strategies. - Adhere to best practices for internal processes, including Opportunity Management, Data Quality, Quoting, and Forecasting. - Participate in strategic account planning with key stakeholders to ensure accountability across teams and act as a Renewals brand ambassador. - Collaborate with internal resources to develop win strategies for a seamless customer experience and resolve complex issues. - Proactively engage in new initiatives, act as a subject matter expert, and mentor other team members. - Identify customer needs and guide renewal closure, ensuring continued customer engagement and value realization. - Work with the Customer Success organization to review customer value achievement and product adoption. - Promote upgrade opportunities and renewal value propositions to maximize returns on products and solutions. - Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate team members for follow-up. Required Qualifications: - Understanding of SaaS/subscription-based renewal models, applications, and sales techniques. - Strong negotiation and objection handling skills for value-based contract negotiations at the CXO level. - Ability to work on diverse problems requiring analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, MIS (Computer Sciences), or related field. - Experience in Sales Management, Renewal Account Management, or Customer Success with a focus on negotiating contracts. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of SAS products, cloud technologies, and enterprise CRM applications. - Strong process management, financial acumen, and adherence to policy. - Experience leading customer retention and adoption of SaaS products for complex accounts. - Awareness of industry trends and technologies.
