Role & responsibilities 1. Exposure in Land Litigation and TSR Review. 2. Experience in drafting and reviewing land agreements like lease deed, Sale Deeds and other agreements related to land. 3. Experience in handling land related litigation. 4. To stay updated with state land law, property laws and locals including knowledge of land revenue act, stamp act, registration act etc. 5. Deal with all legal issues relating to conversion of agricultural land, mutation, stamp duty, registration of documents, review of TSR, drafting of MoU, agreement to sale, conveyance deed, crop compensation agreement, power of Attorney and other agreements related to land. 6. Assist and advice land team towards obtaining permission from all government and regulatory and authorities for acquisition of land and transfer of land in favour of the Company. 7. Deal with and advice internal departments for various land development activities and project execution. 8. Liaison with external lawyers, drafting and preparing case briefs, Notices and replies to notice. 9. Well versed with the procedural laws, partition suits etc. 10. Maintaining Legal MIS. Such other works as may be assigned from time to time. Preferred candidate profile Education: Graduate in Law Experience: 8-12 years in land acquisition, preferably in solar, wind, or infrastructure projects. Role & responsibilities Identification of relevant land parcels suitable for setting up of solar power projects Responsible for entire process of Land Acquisition for Solar Projects. Title search report understanding and interpretation, registration formalities and co-ordination with revenue and other government body like revenue, forest, Gram Panchayat, town planner, industries etc. for necessary approval required for land acquisitions. Site survey of land and clearance from revenue authorities Compliance with all processes and meeting audit requirements Inter department coordination Assessment of site requirements for land procurement Obtaining of all land records pertaining to private land Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that, where legal risks have been identified, and appropriate courses of action have been taken. Work out strategies for pre and post planning of projects Resolving potential issues during acquisition process Regular Management reporting Preferred candidate profile Education: Graduate in any discipline (Law/Real Estate/Engineering preferred).
