Job Description

As a Territory Sales Manager for the Midwest region at Ingersoll Rand, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and business development activities for ARO branded pump products. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the Distribution/Channel Partner network in the assigned territory, serving as the main point of contact for distributors, business owners, sales teams, and service leaders. By cultivating strong customer relationships, providing training to distribution personnel, and ensuring adherence to MAP policies, you will contribute to the revenue growth and market share of ARO products in the Midwest Region. Your role will involve administering reseller agreements, establishing performance benchmarks, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with Marketing and Product Management to leverage pricing and product specifications. You will also be expected to have a deep understanding of Positive Displacement pump applications, technical pump sales, and expertise in Air-Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Piston Pumps, and Peristaltic/Hose pumps. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business, or equivalent technical sales experience. Proficiency in pump applications, construction, hydraulics, and product specifications is essential. Travel up to 75% is expected for this remote position, and candidates must reside within Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, or Iowa.
