Founded by seasoned leaders from the Employer of Record (EOR) industry, we’re building a mission-driven platform with deep roots in remote work infrastructure, logistics, and HR tech. 🎯 The Role We’re looking for a hands-on CTO who can lead from the front, build the technical vision, and own the product roadmap. You’ll be the founding tech leader shaping everything from architecture to hiring, with significant equity in the company. 🛠 What You’ll Do • Define and execute the product’s technical roadmap • Build the MVP and scalable backend systems (SaaS, asset tracking, integrations) • Lead hiring, team building, and mentoring of developers • Collaborate directly with the founding team (with strong EOR + GTM expertise) • Make build vs buy decisions aligned with fast-paced delivery ✅ You Have • 7+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in a tech leadership role • Experience building SaaS platforms (preferably in B2B or operations/logistics) • Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, etc.), microservices, APIs • Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams • Strong product sensibility and a founder’s mindset 💡 Note: This is an equity-only position to start. The platform simplifies the way companies procure, assign, track, and recover IT equipment across borders. With features like global shipping, effortless tracking, and secure recovery, Remoasset is tailored for companies embracing a remote-first approach. What You’ll Own (As CTO & Co-founder) • Lead the technical architecture and execution of the Remoasset web application (React.js + Node.js + PostgreSQL) • Build and scale the MVP within 30–45 days based on the detailed PRD and screen specs • Set up clean, modular codebase and infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and speed • Build and manage a lean engineering team or freelancers post-funding • Collaborate closely on product roadmap, feature planning, and technical hiring • Take full ownership of tech stack decisions, delivery timelines, and infrastructure scaling What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of full-stack development experience (React.js + Node.js preferred) • Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms from scratch • Strong understanding of data architecture, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL • Passion for early-stage startups and desire to own technical execution end-to-end • Strong product thinking, execution speed, and attention to detail • Experience in logistics, inventory, or HR/IT SaaS tools is a big plus Equity + Investment Expectation This is a co-founder position with significant equity stake. We are looking for someone who’s also willing to bring a small investment (skin in the game) or help structure early team and tech delivery within tight constraints.
