Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate PHP Laravel Developer to join our growing team at RemitSo. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications that power our international money transfer platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP, Laravel, and related technologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework, focusing on security and performance. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product managers, to deliver seamless user experiences. * Implement and maintain secure database schemas and optimized queries. * Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring minimal downtime. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and security standards. * Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, security best practices, and technologies, particularly in the fintech space. * Implement and maintain secure APIs for web and mobile applications. * Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. * Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on security and compliance. Work with version control systems (e.g., Git). Required Skills and Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer, preferably in the fintech industry. * Strong understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework, with a focus on secure coding practices. * Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies. * Experience with secure database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, with an understanding of API security. * Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and secure coding methodologies. * Experience with version control systems (Git). * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and security awareness skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: * Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React). * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), particularly with security and compliance considerations. * Experience with automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit). * Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on secure deployment practices. * Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and how to prevent them. * Experience with payment gateways.
