The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and services. Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers. Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Monitor and report on supplier performance. Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, logistics). Key Result Areas (KRAs) : Procurement Efficiency 1. Supplier Base Expansion: Identify and onboard new suppliers to increase competition and reduce dependence on existing suppliers. 2. Cost Savings: Achieve cost savings of at least 5% through effective negotiation and supplier management. 3. Lead Time Reduction: Reduce lead times for raw materials and packaging materials by at least 10%. Quality and Compliance 1. Supplier Quality Performance: Ensure that at least 95% of suppliers meet quality standards and requirements. 2. Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 3. Audit and Certification: Maintain necessary certifications (e.g., ISO 9001) and ensure successful audits. Supply Chain Reliability 1. Delivery Performance: Ensure that at least 95% of materials and services are delivered on time. 2. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking. 3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
