Job Summary

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution networks, and leading the regional sales team across Assam. You will ensure the achievement of sales targets through effective dealer and distributor management, team leadership, market expansion, and timely collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company business objectives.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across Assam.
• Appoint, develop, and manage dealers, distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers.
• Expand market presence by identifying untapped towns, districts, and emerging business markets.
• Strengthen the dealer network and improve product availability across the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular market visits to develop customer relationships and ensure product visibility and branding.
• Ensure timely collections and compliance with company credit policies.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotional schemes, and market trends.
• Coordinate with marketing, logistics, finance, and product teams for smooth business operations.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, MIS reports, and territory performance reviews.
• Develop business opportunities with electrical dealers, contractors, builders, and institutional customers.
• Monitor team performance and implement action plans to achieve sales and profitability targets.

• Graduate or MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of sales experience in electrical products, building materials, or consumer durables.
• Proven experience in regional sales management, dealer development, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of distributor and dealer networks in Assam or the Northeast region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, sales forecasting, MIS reporting, and performance analysis.
• Ability to manage sales targets, collections, and channel profitability.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Assam.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
