Position Summary: The Electrical Engineer (EPC) for the CBG Plant is responsible for the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of all electrical systems within the project. This role ensures that all electrical systems, including power supply, distribution, and control systems, are designed and implemented according to project specifications, safety regulations, and operational needs. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and efficient plant operations. Objective of this Role include: Design electrical systems for the CBG plant, including power generation, distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), and lighting systems. Develop detailed electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Ensure designs comply with electrical safety standards and regulations (such as IEC, NEC, IS codes). Specify electrical equipment and components, such as transformers, switchgear, cables, motors, and control systems. Key Deliverables/ KPIs (Measurable): Min 5 deliverables, clear & precise 1) Design & Engineering 2) Project Execution 3) Power Supply & Distribution 4) Automation & Control Systems 5) Safety & Compliance Position Responsibility (Should have minimum 10 deliverables, clear & precise) Roles: 1. Overall engineering execution for construction/layout related design. 2. Review of input for design. 3. Coordination work with interface disciplines, such as Civil, Piping, Instrument, Building, HSE, Painting, Insulation, Construction, and others. 4. Coordination work with Client, Vendors, engineering subcontractors and others. 5. Design, Prepare and review the following drawings/deliverables: 6. Equipment/material and design specification, data sheet, calculation 7. Layouts for cable tray/trench, power/control, lighting, earthing, telecommunication 8. Schematic wiring and connection diagram 9. Detailed electrical installation drawings 10. Cable and Drum schedule 11. Inquiry package, including Requisition for bulk materials 12. Technical bid evaluation report for bulk materials 13. Prepare technical correspondence and query to Client 14. Preparation of Equipment/Material selection and MTO (Material Take-off) 15. 3D Modelling Activities for Electrical Scope for both presentation to Company at review session and modelling including clash resolution 16. Vendor document review for electrical and other disciplines 17. Field Engineering working Construction site/Module fabrication yard 18. Other necessary work requested/instructed by supervisors. Desired Profile: 1. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic or similar categories from a recognized university 2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical detailed engineering, FEED and proposal/estimation works and including 3 years in engineering/supervisor works at construction site preferably in the field of Oil & Gas and Chemicals. 3. Knowledge and experience with Electrical construction/layout design of Substation, Power, Lighting, Earthing, Telecommunication, Cathodic Protection and Heat Tracing. 4. Knowledge and experience with IEC and North American codes and standards as well as major oil company standards. 5. Familiarity with Electrical material and installation practices. 6. Experience of Field engineer in Construction site and/or Module Fabrication yard. 7. Technical Knowledge and experience with 3Dmodeling such as E3D, S3D model Top 3 mandatory skills required to perform this job: 1) Strong knowledge of electrical systems for industrial plants, including power distribution, motors, MCCs, switchgear, and control systems. 2) Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and simulation tools. 3) Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, NEC, IS codes) for electrical installations. 4) Understanding of automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA).
