GD Academy is a leading institute in Manjeri, focused on delivering high-quality education in digital marketing and creative fields. We are now looking for a creative and skilled Reel Video Editor to join our team.

Job Role:
We are seeking a passionate Video Editor with strong expertise in creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video content. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, editing style, and social media trends.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging Reels and short-form videos for social media platforms.
• Add music, transitions, captions, and effects to enhance video content.
• Work closely with the marketing and content team to develop creative video strategies.
• Stay updated with trending editing styles, formats, and social media algorithms.
• Manage video storage, backups, and version control.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (Reels/Short-form content).
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong sense of creativity, attention to detail, and timing.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube & Facebook.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in an academy, media house, or digital marketing agency.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time (On-site, Manjeri)
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)
Experience: 1–2 years preferred (freshers with strong portfolios may also apply)
