Role Summary

Ansible Automation & Red Hat Linux Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Ansible Automation

• Develop, maintain, and optimize

  Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories

  .
• Automate OS configuration, deployments, and day-to-day operational tasks.
  
• Implement and manage

  Ansible Tower/AWX

  (added advantage).
• Maintain standardized and reusable automation code across environments.
  

Red Hat Linux Administration

• Install, configure, and manage

  RHEL servers

  in production and non-production environments.
• Perform system updates, patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
  
• Manage services, users, file systems, and security settings.
  
• Troubleshoot OS and service-related issues to ensure system uptime.
  

Operational Support

• Monitor and manage system performance and logs.
  
• Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and automation scripts.
  
• Work closely with infrastructure, network, and application teams for issue resolution.
  
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and on-call rotation (if applicable).
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of hands-on experience in

  Ansible

  automation.
• Strong experience with

  Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

  or CentOS.
• Practical knowledge of

  Bash/Shell scripting

  .
• Experience with

  Git

  and version control workflows.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system and automation issues.
  
• Basic understanding of networking (DNS, firewalls, routing, SSH).
  

Good to Have

• Experience with

  Ansible Tower/AWX

  .
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  
• RHCSA or RHCE certification.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or containerization tools.
  

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
