Role & responsibilities Design laser-cut SMT stencils (prototype and production) based on PCB Gerber data and assembly requirements. Analyze PCB layouts and component footprints to determine optimal aperture shapes, reductions, and offsets . Modify designs to account for component density, paste type, and manufacturing tolerances. Utilize CAD/CAM tools (e.g., Altium, Valor, CAM350, GC-Prevue, AutoCAD , or equivalent) for data analysis and stencil creation. Stencil/Pallet/Fixture design Ensure all designs comply with IPC-7525 (Stencil Design Guidelines) and internal manufacturing standards. Review assembly panelization, fiducials, and tooling hole placements to ensure stencil compatibility. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Bachelors in Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience ) 0-3 years of experience in SMT process engineering or PCB/stencil design . Proficiency in Gerber/CAM editing software (e.g., CAM350, Altium Designer, GC-CAM, or similar). Knowledge of SMT printing processes , solder paste behavior, and stencil fabrication methods (laser cut, electroformed, nanocoating, etc.). Autocad 2d,solidwork,fixture design
