Prepare comprehensive Credit Appraisal Memorandums (CAMs) for NBFC lending, including in-depth analysis of the promoter profile, business model, market positioning, and operational strengths. Conduct detailed financial analysis of clients, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and computation of key financial ratios to support informed credit decisions. Undertake underwriting and due diligence processes, evaluating asset quality, liquidity, and overall risk profile, ensuring alignment with statutory guidelines and internal risk policies. Monitor the NBFC & Real Estate sector for emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic developments to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (risk, compliance, legal) to ensure timely and accurate credit evaluation and loan documentation. Support periodic portfolio reviews and credit monitoring of existing exposures to ensure ongoing creditworthiness and early detection of stress signals. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Strong understanding of the NBFC sector, regulatory landscape, and financial products. Proven experience in credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment. Familiarity with RBI norms, Basel guidelines, and lending frameworks. Familiarity with property appraisal aspects (Legal & Technical norms) Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and credit rating tools.
