Job Description

As an R&D Software Architect at Nokia's Optical Systems and Networking Solutions team, you will be joining a dynamic and innovative environment where you can work in-person, hybrid, or remotely. You will collaborate with a focused and agile group on cutting-edge subsea communications and leverage a unique software infrastructure to contribute across various areas. Engage directly with customers to enhance software excellence and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Refactor and re-architect existing code for enhanced reliability and scalability in R&D projects. - Design infrastructure to enable optical engineers to contribute effectively to the codebase. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative software platforms for communication systems. - Monitor code check-ins for quality, ensuring high standards throughout the development process. - Execute best practices in DevOps to streamline and automate the software delivery lifecycle. - Lead the integration of new technologies to enhance system capabilities and user experience. - Create interactive visualizations to enable customers to make changes accurately and efficiently. - Contribute to groundbreaking solutions that automate the measurement and optimization of communication systems. **Qualifications Required:** - Front end development experience with Blazor, React, Angular, or Vue. - Expertise in .NET (C#, VB.NET). - Strong knowledge of database management and replication. - Experience in designing for high availability. - Proficiency in Docker. - Proficiency in Javascript. **Additional Details:** Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed, and cloud networks.
