Role Overview: You are being sought after to take on the role of R&D Manager in the Telecom domain, where your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee the development of cutting-edge software products, specifically in the Telecom/Lawful Interception sector. Your proficiency in C/C++/Java/Python, coupled with a solid comprehension of telecom protocols and systems, will play a pivotal role in managing technical teams and navigating product life cycles from inception to deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the R&D/product development team to conceptualize, develop, and deliver high-performance telecom solutions. - Drive the product roadmap, define features, and establish delivery timelines in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. - Manage the complete product life cycle, encompassing requirement analysis, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. - Ensure strict adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes. - Engage with customers and business teams to decipher market needs and translate them into technical requirements. - Continuously assess emerging technologies and identify innovation opportunities that align with the company's objectives. - Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of software engineers and technical leads, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and support teams to facilitate seamless delivery and maintenance. - Create project documentation, progress reports, and presentations for senior management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field. - Possess more than 10 years of experience in software/product development, with a preference for the telecom or networking industry. - Hold at least 3 years of experience in team management or project/product leadership roles. - Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills are essential. - Previous experience in customer interaction, pre-sales support, and product demonstrations would be advantageous. Additional Details: Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is valued in this role. Your problem-solving acumen, coupled with the ability to navigate ambiguity in requirements, will be beneficial for your success in this position.,
