Areas of Responsibility

Primary Objectives:

• Research, development and productization of IGBT power modules for multiple applications.
• Drive planning, development, and commercialization of next-generation GaN and SiC power modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design activities for power module electrical design
• Design and evaluate power module packages (IGBT / GaN / SiC), including Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs), with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Conduct simulations for thermal distribution, power budgeting, and mechanical stress analysis to optimize module design.
• Define and validate product quality through rigorous testing and specification development.
• Engineering tasks management
• Lead fast-paced, mission-critical development projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
• Balance customer requirements with cost optimization to deliver competitive, specification-compliant designs.
• Promote and support market development of SiC and GaN modules by identifying potential applications and engaging with prospective customers.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in product and circuit design, with a strong background in power electronics.
• Extensive hands-on experience in power circuit design, high-performance analog systems, and embedded mixed-signal solutions at both board and system levels.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set clear priorities by agreement with Managers.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent laboratory and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluency in Japanese language is an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
