Role & responsibilities Electrical Design & Drafting: Responsible for the design and drafting of electrical schematics, control circuits, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software. Component Selection & Specification: Selection and specification of electrical components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and switchgear based on application and customer requirements. Panel Design & BOM Preparation: Develop control panel designs and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement and production. Coordinate with the panel fabrication team to ensure accurate implementation of designs. PLC & HMI Integration: Design logic flow for PLCs and prepare HMI screen layouts in coordination with the automation team. Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and safety norms (e.g., IEC, IS, NEC). Project Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation including cable schedules, load calculations, GA drawings, control philosophy, and test reports. Client & Internal Coordination: Collaborate with clients, project engineers, and other departments for design approvals, technical clarifications, and site remote support. Preferred candidate profile : Education- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (optional), MS Office. Knowledge & Experience: Experience in control system design, power distribution, and automation. Familiar with PLC/HMI-based control systems. Understanding of electrical standards and protection systems. Compensation Structure: CTC will be based on the candidates technical expertise and design experience. Two-Phase CTC Structure: Initial CTC applicable for the first 6 months (probation/training). Revised CTC after review based on performance and contribution. Practical knowledge of machined parts, gears, sprockets, hardware, pneumatic components , and other mechanical assemblies. Strong understanding of mechanical systems motors, pumps, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, fans, etc. Capable of independent dismantling and re-assembly of mechanical parts. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing charts, graphs, and reports. Ability to coordinate remotely with senior engineering teams via TeamViewer and send site installation/service reports by email. Experience in vendor management , obtaining quotations, preparing comparative statements, and supporting purchase activities. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi for client and vendor interactions. Should be able to search and develop new vendors/manufacturers , prepare purchase comparisons, and assist in order processing. Capable of presenting technical and purchase data in both tabular and graphical formats. Must be dedicated, disciplined, and committed to achieving project deadlines. Two-wheeler is mandatory for local site visits.
