Business Development Manager Icecream division
The primary goal of this role is to spearhead the growth and advancement of the company's ice cream brand within Goa and Maharashtra. This involves identifying new business prospects, overseeing franchise relationships, expanding retail presence, and enhancing sales performance. Responsibilities include: Business Expansion and Franchise Development: Assess and select potential franchise partners and locations, aid in the establishment of new franchise outlets, and maintain positive rapport with franchisees to ensure achievement of performance targets. Keep track of market trends and propose strategies to elevate brand visibility. Retail Outlet and Sales Management: Supervise retail operations in both company-owned and franchised outlets, evaluate sales metrics, propose enhancements, and define sales objectives. Collaborate with the marketing team for local promotional activities, events, and product launches while upholding consistent customer service standards. Channel Development: Broaden distribution channels encompassing modern trade, general trade, supermarkets, and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes). Onboard new resellers, dealers, and institutional clients, and assist in logistics and supply chain planning for cold storage distribution. Marketing and Branding Coordination: Work closely with the internal marketing unit to execute campaigns, monitor competitor activities, and position the brand effectively. Organize tasting events, pop-ups, exhibitions, and partnerships with local events to bolster brand visibility. Reporting and Strategy: Generate monthly and quarterly business development reports, offer sales forecasts and expansion strategies to senior leadership, and leverage data analysis to steer decision-making processes. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred. Experience: 2-5 years in business development, retail, FMCG, or F&B sales. Prior experience in the ice cream or QSR industry is advantageous. Skills: Proficient communication and negotiation skills, entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work autonomously, familiarity with Maharashtra and Goa markets, and willingness to travel extensively within the regions.,
