We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage our company's financial transactions and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Tally software, a solid understanding of accounting principles within the transport and logistics industry, and relevant experience in a similar role. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to both our core logistics operations and our growing consultancy services. Financial Accounting & Reporting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in Tally software. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements. Handle bank reconciliations and manage petty cash. Assist in the finalization of accounts and preparation for audits. Logistics & Transport Accounting: Process and verify transport and freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Track and manage operational costs related to transport, fuel, maintenance, and other logistics activities. Reconcile transporter accounts and resolve discrepancies. Prepare reports related to logistics costs, revenue, and profitability. Understand and manage accounting for Goods Transport Agency (GTA) services and related compliance. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.). Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings. Stay updated with changes in taxation and statutory laws relevant to the transport and logistics industry. Consultancy Support (as applicable): Assist in preparing financial data and analysis for consultancy projects. Contribute to cost analysis and financial modeling for logistics solutions offered to clients. Record Keeping & Administration: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation, both physical and digital. Coordinate with other departments for financial information and query resolution. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree (M.Com) or professional accounting certification would be an advantage. Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role, preferably [Specify number of years, e.g., 2-5 years]. Essential: Demonstrable experience in the transport and logistics industry. Experience in a consultancy environment is a plus. Technical Skills: Essential: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime is mandatory. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and willing to take initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of LT/HT electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities Handle LT and HT electrical installations and routine maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with TNEB and CEIG regulations and manage related documentation.
