Company Description We are a well-established hardware and building material store based in Nawanshahr, Punjab, serving retail and wholesale customers for over 30 years. Our shop deals in tools, paints, electricals, plumbing items, sanitaryware, adhesives, building supplies, and more. We're looking for a dedicated, trustworthy, and hardworking individual to join our small, friendly team and grow with us. Role Description As a Sales & Inventory Associate, your primary responsibilities will include attending customers, managing stock, billing, handling incoming and outgoing inventory, and keeping the shop floor organized. You’ll play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations. 📍 Location: Nawanshahr, Punjab 🕒 Job Type: Full-time 🗓️ Start Date: Immediate 💼 Industry: Retail / Hardware & Building Materials 💰 Salary: ₹9000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on experience) Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with their purchases. Provide product information and suggest alternatives when needed. Handle billing and cash transactions (cash, UPI, card, etc.). Manage daily inventory – receiving, counting, and stocking items. Keep records of stock using register or basic software. Organize shelves, ensure items are clean and properly tagged. Maintain basic cleanliness and order in the shop. Follow up with suppliers/vendors for stock requirements. Update owner/manager about daily sales and needs. Support with loading/unloading materials (light to medium weight). Handle customer queries in person or via phone/WhatsApp. Qualifications Education: Minimum 10th pass. 12th / Diploma preferred. Experience: 1+ years in retail, hardware, or customer service preferred (Freshers with willingness to learn can apply). Basic Computer Knowledge: Must know how to use a smartphone, billing software, or Excel. Language Skills: Punjabi (mandatory), Hindi. Basic English is a plus. Physically fit for light lifting and standing long hours. Honest, punctual, responsible, and quick learner.
