We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing and building high-precision, mission-critical systems . This is not a desk-only roleyoull lead from the front: designing, prototyping, working with vendors, iterating in the lab, and getting products production-ready. Youll be responsible for: Architecting ultra-precise mechanical systems (100 nm motion stages, high-speed robotics). Designing enclosures, motion platforms, and opto-mechanical assemblies for microscopes, scanners, and automation systems. Driving R&D to production transition : taking a lab prototype into scalable, manufacturable products. Collaborating across optics, electronics, and AI to deliver breakthrough solutions in blood morphology analysis & digital pathology. Pushing boundaries: machining limits, tolerances, epoxy-granite bases, sheet-metal optimization, thermal stability—whatever it takes. What We’re Looking For 10+ years in mechanical engineering, product design, or precision machinery (preferably in medical devices, optics, robotics, or semiconductor equipment). Mastery of SolidWorks in 3D modeling, simulation, design documentation and strong DFM/DFX experience. Deep expertise in gantry systems, miniature models, and transmission drives. Track record of taking products from concept to market . Comfort working in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments . An attitude of “whatever it takes to succeed.” Bonus points if you have experience with: Optical/mechatronic assemblies. Ultra-precision machining or surface finishing. Medical device regulatory experience. Leading small, elite teams of engineers. Why Join Us? Work on problems that truly matter : every breakthrough here directly impacts patient lives worldwide. Ownership from day one —you’re not just an employee, you’re a builder of the company. Bleeding-edge R&D : from nanosecond illumination to 5-axis CNC precision, all available in-house. A culture that celebrates intensity, creativity, and craftsmanship . If you’re among the best, and you know it—send your resume, portfolio and just a note about the hardest thing you’ve ever built to careers@livo.ai . Come help us push the limits of engineering—and healthcare. We’re not looking for someone to “do the job.” We’re looking for someone who will redefine what’s possible.
