Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Responsibilities Monitor and manage all electrical and plumbing systems, including LV panels, DG sets, UPS, pumps, STP, WTP, hot water systems, and bathroom fixtures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for preventive and corrective maintenance. Attend breakdown calls promptly and ensure quick rectification to minimize downtime. Manage shift operations and ensure smooth handover between shifts. 2. Maintenance & Preventive Tasks Execute and supervise preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and plumbing equipment. Maintain records of daily checklists, logbooks, and utility consumption. Identify recurring issues and propose permanent corrective actions. Ensure proper functioning of fire safety systems (fire pumps, emergency lights, smoke detectors, hydrants). 3. Team Supervision Allocate daily tasks to technicians and plumbers as per priorities. Monitor team performance and guide them on technical issues. Ensure attendance, discipline, and grooming standards of the team. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with hotel safety standards, statutory norms, and electrical/plumbing codes. Report hazards, unsafe practices, or equipment failures immediately. Conduct safety toolbox talks as required. 5. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and other departments for maintenance requirements. Provide technical support during events, VIP arrivals, and emergencies. Ensure proper shift handover with detailed reporting of issues, pending tasks, and completed work. 6. Inventory & Documentation Maintain adequate stock of tools, spares, and consumables. Keep updated documentation of maintenance records, utility consumption, breakdown reports, and AMC services.
