Job Description

Job Title: Radiology Typist
Location: Attapur, Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately type and transcribe radiology reports, findings, and observations from dictated audio files or handwritten notes.
Ensure medical terminology, spellings, and formatting are precise and error-free.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and sensitive medical information.
Coordinate with radiologists and technicians to clarify unclear dictations or incomplete details.
Organize and maintain digital records for quick retrieval and reference.
Meet turnaround time (TAT) requirements for reports to support timely diagnosis and patient care.
Assist with clerical and administrative tasks related to the radiology department, when required.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Proven typing speed with accuracy (minimum 50–60 wpm preferred).
Familiarity with medical and radiology terminology.
Experience in transcription or medical typing is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PACS/RIS knowledge preferred).
Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.
Certification or prior experience in medical transcription/typing is desirable.
