Radiologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologist to join our medical team. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other modalities) to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. The role requires strong analytical skills, precision, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and analyze medical imaging results (X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, etc.) to identify abnormalities or diseases.
  
• Collaborate with referring physicians to provide diagnostic insights and treatment recommendations.
  
• Perform image-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages, or injections) when required.
  
• Ensure accurate documentation and preparation of radiology reports in a timely manner.
  
• Supervise and guide radiology technicians and junior staff in imaging procedures.
  
• Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
  
• Keep updated with the latest advancements in radiology techniques and technologies.
  
• Support emergency and on-call radiology services when required.
  

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical imaging techniques.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and make accurate, timely diagnoses.
  
• Strong communication skills to explain findings to healthcare professionals.
  
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and radiology-related software.
  
• Ethical, empathetic, and patient-centric approach.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Radiology from a recognized institution.
  
• Valid medical license and registration with the medical council.
