Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and other radio graphic examinations as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure proper patient positioning, immobilisation, and comfort during imaging procedures.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection protocols.
Verify patient identification and review requisition forms for accuracy before conducting scans.
Monitor image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy before submission for reporting.
Maintain accurate patient and imaging records as per hospital/clinic policies.
Assist radiologists in specialised imaging procedures when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Diploma or B.Sc. in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology from a recognised institution.
Certification:
Valid AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) License (mandatory).
Experience:
13 years of relevant experience in diagnostic imaging (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating X-ray, CT, MRI, and/or digital imaging equipment.
Knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team and handle patient concerns with empathy.
