As an X-Ray Technician, your role involves producing x-ray images through the performance of x-ray procedures using radiology equipment and film processing. You will be responsible for capturing x-rays of patients" internal anatomy to assist physicians in diagnosing various illnesses, diseases, or injuries. It is crucial to explain x-ray procedures to patients and ensure that they receive limited radiation exposure during the process. Your duties will include monitoring radiology supplies, attending training sessions, and verifying that x-ray machines are calibrated to the correct radiation levels. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all x-ray rooms at all times is also a key responsibility. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field.
