Radio Frequency Junior Engineer

As a Junior RF Hardware Engineer with a focus on RF De-sense performance, your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal wireless performance for high-end consumer electronics. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including: - **De-sense Validation & Testing**: Assessing platform-level RF de-sense performance, setting up, verifying, and debugging RF test stations and software. - **Yield & Data Analysis**: Monitoring daily RF yield, analyzing test data, identifying critical issues, and driving actions to improve product yield. - **Failure Analysis & Mitigation**: Performing hardware failure analysis at the RF/system level, proposing and implementing design changes (such as PCB layout, shielding, grounding) to address de-sense issues. - **Design Review**: Reviewing PCB/Flex layouts and system-level grounding designs to ensure RF integrity. - **Documentation & Reporting**: Preparing technical reports, participating in regular sync meetings with clients and internal teams, and creating SOP guidance for Mass Production (MP). - **Production Support**: Assisting with factory new site bring-up and providing technical training to team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - **Education**: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. - **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF engineering or related hardware validation. In terms of technical skills, you should have: - A strong understanding of RF fundamentals and receiver de-sense mitigation techniques. - Proficiency with RF lab equipment such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, CMW500, etc. - Familiarity with wireless communication standards like LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS. Soft skills that are essential for this role include excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, high self-motivation, and a passion for learning new technologies. Proficiency in English is required for this position. Additionally, experience in a manufacturing environment or factory bring-up is highly preferred.
