Radar Systems Engineer

As a Radar Systems Engineer at Aptiv, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility by working with cutting-edge Radar Systems and Automotive Applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Serving as a Technical Expert for Radar Systems, particularly FMCW Radars at 77GHz, by conducting Requirements Analysis and developing System Specifications in collaboration with various customers. - Performing MMIC testing, characterization, and failure analysis. - Engaging in Algorithm and Software Development for Radar Signal Processing. - Providing support for Radar measurements in Laboratory and Test Vehicles. - Collaborating with different competencies internally within the Global organization. - Occasionally participating in Customer Test Drives. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - A graduate in BE/B.Tech (Electricals/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, Robotics) with at least 4 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in Functional Safety with hands-on SW development, Safety Analysis, and Tool Qualification. - Exposure to Radar testing in the laboratory and data analysis. - Proficiency in Matlab and C-programming. - Excellent English language skills. - Strong team and customer orientation, along with a high degree of flexibility, dedication, and initiative. - Desirable experience with Automotive standards and processes, as well as direct customer interaction. - Knowledge of Automotive Product Development Process (ASPICE).
