Radar System Engineer

As an experienced Radar System Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of a vehicle-based radar detection system from scratch. Your role will involve end-to-end system design, prototyping, and implementation of a radar platform capable of accurately detecting surrounding objects and enhancing vehicle situational awareness. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop radar-based sensing systems for vehicles - Select appropriate radar hardware and components (e.g. mmWave sensors) - Build algorithms for object detection, tracking, and classification - Integrate radar with software interface, sensors, or AI models - Prototype and test the radar unit in simulated and real-world environments - Collaborate on system architecture, data processing, and signal analysis - Ensure system reliability, calibration, and environmental robustness - Maintain documentation for system design and testing protocols Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field - Hands-on experience with radar technologies (FMCW, mmWave, etc.) - Strong knowledge of signal processing and radar algorithms - Experience with tools like MATLAB, Python, or C++ for radar signal analysis - Familiarity with automotive sensors, embedded systems, or ADAS technologies is a plus - Ability to design custom radar solutions from ground-up - Prior experience with prototype building and testing preferred,
