As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing detailed design plans for manufacturing processes using CAD and CAM software. Your responsibilities will involve creating digital models, generating machine tool paths, and ensuring that designs are optimized for production. Qualifications Required: - Education: - Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. - Certification in CAD/CAM programming or similar technical certification preferred. - Experience: - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming for CNC machines. - Experience with CNC machining processes, tool path generation, and machine operation is highly preferred. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar). - Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, etc.). - Familiarity with CNC machine programming and G-code. - Strong understanding of machining methods, tooling, and material properties. - Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting machine and design issues.
