We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team and ensure that all hotel operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Role: The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the daily upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and guest rooms. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting the engineering team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities: Assist in routine maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments. Support in preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when required. Follow safety guidelines and hotel maintenance policies. Record maintenance activities and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Chief Engineer. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in hotel or facility maintenance. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts.
