As an Oracle Database Developer at Insight Global, you will be responsible for utilizing your strong knowledge of the Oracle ecosystem to create queries, views, materialized views, functions, and stored procedures that align with business functionality requirements. You will also play a crucial role in designing and implementing tables, schemas, databases, and other database objects like constraints, primary and foreign keys to meet business expectations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve running or automating SQL-based queries to load, transform, and move data between database schemas and tables. You will be expected to create alarms, thresholds, and budget values for effective monitoring, ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems. A key part of your role will require you to quickly grasp how the commissioning system works from a business perspective and collaborate effectively with data engineers and data architects to enhance productivity and deliver high-quality work. In this role, you should exhibit strong coding skills in PL/SQL from scratch and have experience working with AWS RDS databases and monitoring tools. You should also be familiar with queues, including consuming and publishing data from services like Kafka, SQS, and have the ability to read and work with Java. Additionally, experience with AWS services like S3, RDS, Lambda, Informatica for orchestration, Qtest for testing, and performance tuning will be beneficial.
