Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantitative Researcher, based in Gurugram with flexibility for some remote work. The Quantitative Researcher will conduct in-depth quantitative research to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and potential strategies in different financial markets. Key responsibilities include developing and testing statistical and mathematical models, analyzing large data sets for patterns, and collaborating with the team to implement trading strategies. Additionally, this role involves evaluating existing strategies for optimization and contributing innovative ideas for new quantitative solutions. Qualifications Strong background in Statistics and Mathematics to formulate and analyze quantitative methods. Proficiency in Quantitative Research and Quantitative Investing with a focus on trading and financial strategies. Exceptional Analytical Skills to investigate and interpret complex data and market trends. Advanced programming and computational skills (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) are highly preferred. Familiarity with financial markets, trading platforms, and statistical arbitrage strategies is beneficial. Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
