Roles and Responsibilities: Identifying and securing business opportunities. Proactively conduct sales calling, client visits, approach new and existing customers and achieve business objectives. Effectively handling RFQ response with appropriate discussion with management. Achieve agreed sales targets & business objectives and enlarge customer based. Participate sales & marketing event to enhance company exposure in the market. Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Logistics team. Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services. Providing weekly/monthly MIS reports.
Summary: The candidate will be responsible for the Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai branches. Candidate should have 15 to 20 years experience in Customs house/clearance, freight forwarding, pricing and team management. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the CHA, Freight Forwarding and Pricing in all the branches and report. Ensure adherence to customs regulations, maintain accurate records, and prepare/submit necessary documentation for import/export. Supervise and manager team, ensuring efficient clearance processes and timely shipment delivery. Coordinate with internal teams and external to ensure smooth shipment execution and ensure the pricing is done as per the company standard/practice. Prepare and process necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading and customs declarations. Manage and mentor branch staff to achieve performance goals. Ensure excellent customer service standards are met by the team. Monitor and analyze financial, sales, and operational reports. Ensure branch compliance with all company policies and legal regulations. Coordinate with other branch managers and upper management to align goals and strategies. Role & responsibilities Prepare and manage import/export documents Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills (SB), invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation. Familiarity with ICEGATE, including electronic filing of import/export documents. Monitor and track the status of import/export shipments through ICEGATE. Utilize ICEGATE for communication with customs authorities and other stakeholders. Prepare checklists for import/export shipments, Prepare bonds and letters for customs. Check vessel/flight arrival status and Instruct liners for container movement. Assist with customs clearance procedures for both imports and exports. Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other parties involved in the clearance process. Ensure timely and accurate payment of duties and taxes. Stay updated on customs regulations, notifications, and procedures. Handle any queries or issues related to customs compliance. Communicate effectively with clients, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders. Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the import/export process. Preferred candidate profile Candidates with good experience in Documentation Import or Export from CHA (customs house agent) with 6 to 15 years experience in Checklist preparation, Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills (SB), Documentation/Filing in ICEGATE.
