Description
As a Quantity Surveyor (Billing), your role involves preparing Quantity Sheets and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from onsite data and drawings. You will also be responsible for processing Subcontractor Bills, taking measurements from the Site Engineer, and ensuring work execution and billing align with company protocols. Reviewing and verifying quantities listed in the BOQ, certifying bills & invoices, verifying site measurements, and preparing Reconciliation Statements for materials and quantities are crucial tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Quantity Sheets from onsite data and drawings. - Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and bills with item rates as per tender. - Prepare and process Subcontractor Bills. - Take measurements from the Site Engineer and verify. - Ensure work execution and billing are as per company protocols. - Review and verify quantities listed in BOQ. - Check, certify, and approve bills & invoices from vendors and contractors. - Verify site measurements and certify bills accordingly. - Prepare Reconciliation Statements for materials and quantities. To excel in this role, you should have at least 14 years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Billing, preferably in the Construction / Civil industry. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, billing, reconciliation & certifications is essential. Proficiency in MS Excel & Autocad, good communication and coordination skills, as well as an eye for detail and accuracy in billing & documentation are also required.
