Quality Test Engineer III

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing performance and automation tests to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to test planning, estimation, and execution strategies. Your expertise in manual and automated testing for both front-end and back-end components will be essential in maintaining our stable product and enhancing software quality. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to test planning, estimation, and execution strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Generate and maintain test reports, dashboards, and visualizations of test coverage and execution results in tools like JIRA and EazyBI. - Collaborate closely with developers to analyze root causes of test failures and suggest corrective actions. - Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and have a working knowledge of agile methodologies. - Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate QA insights and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders. - Proactively contribute to improving test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance software quality and delivery speed. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of QA Test Engineering experience - BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required - Strong experience in creating, maintaining, and executing manual and automated test cases for front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (Java, PostgreSQL) components. - Proficient in using issue tracking tools like JIRA to log, track, and manage defects. - Proficient in using test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. - Experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation. - Familiarity with REST API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate. - Experience writing and executing SQL queries to validate data in PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS platforms.
