Job Description

As a part of Siemens Energy, you will be contributing to addressing the world's most pressing energy challenges. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting routine testing on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) ranging from 66kV to 420kV. This includes tests on Disconnector, Earthing Switch, and Circuit Breaker (both Mechanical and Electrical Tests) while maintaining high-quality standards within the specified time frame. You will be proficient in operating CB Timing kits, SF6 handling plants, Cranes, and Gas Insulated High Voltage Testing kits. Your role will involve troubleshooting and efficiently diagnosing faults in products and wiring. Additionally, you will actively participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Continuous Improvement programs, Compliance, Corporate Governance, and adhere to EHS and Quality guidelines. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a total experience of 2-3 years, including at least 1 year of experience in GIS routine testing. Flexibility to work in all three shifts is essential. Technical skills required include an understanding of manufacturing and assembly drawings, proficiency in preparing documentation and maintaining records of tests, experience in conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in front of customers, EHS knowledge, and Lean Manufacturing expertise. This position is based in Aurangabad with the opportunity to travel to other locations in India and beyond.
