Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Tidong, Himachal Pradesh Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: Production Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes across our products and services. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to ensure that all quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure the consistent quality of products and services by monitoring, inspecting, and assessing the production process at each stage. Develop Quality Systems: Implement and manage quality management systems (QMS), ensuring they align with industry standards and regulations. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM) to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001). Prepare and deliver detailed quality reports to senior management. Customer Satisfaction: Address customer feedback, concerns, and complaints related to product quality, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Risk Management: Identify potential risks to product quality and lead initiatives to mitigate these risks across the production process. Training & Development: Train staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s quality objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (preferred). Proven experience 5 Years in a Quality Manager role or similar position within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, Lean, Six Sigma). Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers. Experience with risk management, audits, and root cause analysis. Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Desirable Skills: Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or other quality-related certifications. Experience with ERP and QMS software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
