Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Tidong, Himachal Pradesh Job Type: Full-Time Department: Mechanical Engineering Reports To: Project Manager/Engineering Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives. Manage and track project progress, providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Design & Technical Oversight: Oversee technical aspects of engineering design and project execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Provide technical support to project teams, reviewing engineering drawings and documentation for accuracy. Conduct site inspections and assess the feasibility of designs. Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and managing expenditures. Identify resource requirements and assist in securing necessary resources for project success. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices. Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure the integrity of work delivered. Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. Communication & Reporting: Foster effective communication across all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Prepare and present detailed progress reports, ensuring transparency in project developments. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management or related field. Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering engineering projects. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail. Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards. Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
