Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Jabalpur Hospital & Research Centre, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh Department: Quality & Accreditation Reports to: Medical Director / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to quality assurance, patient safety, and accreditation standards at Jabalpur Hospital & Research Centre. The role requires implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with NABH and other relevant healthcare quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the hospital’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with NABH, ISO, and other applicable accreditation/certification standards. Plan and conduct internal audits, mock drills, and management reviews. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and patient safety indicators. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities and incidents. Organize training programs for staff on quality and patient safety topics. Liaise with various departments to standardize clinical and administrative processes. Prepare and submit reports related to quality indicators, audits, and improvements to hospital management. Lead the hospital’s quality improvement initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Coordinate and assist in documentation, SOP creation, policy implementation, and record-keeping related to quality. Work closely with medical and non-medical staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Quality Management, or a related field. Certification in NABH/NABL standards or Six Sigma/Lean Healthcare preferred. Minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in a hospital quality department, preferably in a NABH-accredited hospital. Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, risk management, and patient safety protocols. Key Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools Ability to train and motivate staff Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset Strong co-ordination with inter-departmental team. Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
