JOB SUMMARY

1. Inspection and Testing:

Product Inspection:Quality inspectors visually examine products, materials, and equipment for defects, such as scratches, dents, or improper assembly.
Measuring:They use tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure products meet specified measurements.
Testing:They conduct tests to assess product functionality and performance, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Process Monitoring:They observe production processes to identify potential quality issues and ensure adherence to procedures.
Compliance:They ensure that products and processes comply with industry regulations, company standards, and safety requirements.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

Record Keeping:They maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and measurements, including any defects or non-conformities.
Report Generation:They prepare reports summarizing inspection findings, including data on defects, reworks, and waste.
Data Analysis:They may analyze inspection data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
