Quality Inspector

EXPERIENCE : 5 to 10 Years’ Experience in Injection Moulding & Toolroom Area.

Job Summary: The Quality Engineer for Injection Molding is responsible for ensuring that the injection molding processes and the products produced meet the highest quality standards. This role involves implementing quality control procedures, performing inspections, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with the production and engineering teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Quality Control and Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control plans and standards for injection molding processes.
• Monitor and measure process performance to ensure conformance to customer specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits of molding processes to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and analyze product defects and determine root causes to recommend solutions.
• Develop and maintain inspection and testing protocols to ensure products meet required standards.

· Process Optimization and Improvement:

• Collaborate with the production team to optimize the injection molding process, ensuring maximum efficiency, reduced scrap, and minimal downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, productivity, and cost efficiency using tools like Six Sigma, SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis.
• Analyze data from process and product inspections to propose improvements.

· Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain up-to-date quality documentation, including test reports, certifications, and inspection records.
• Prepare quality reports and presentations for management and clients, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and actions taken.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry-specific quality standards and certifications.

· Supplier and Customer Interaction:

• Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications and standards.
• Address customer complaints related to product quality and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.

· Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to production personnel on quality standards, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Assist in the development of work instructions and SOPs related to quality processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
