Quality Inspection Engineer

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the establishment and maintenance of inspection procedures at manufacturer's locations and project sites in alignment with the agreed Quality Assurance Manual with customers and ISO 19443. As the incumbent, you will be required to guarantee the availability of quality resources at vendor premises and project sites. Key Result Areas (KRAs): 1. Establishing and maintaining inspection procedures. 2. Creating awareness among project stakeholders regarding the importance of quality requirements and adherence. 3. Developing competence by ensuring the right qualifications for the right job across different processes and activities. 4. Addressing non-conformities/non-compliance in work processes and activities and implementing necessary corrective actions. Secondary Result Areas: 1. Conducting audits and ensuring effective compliance. 2. Managing subordinates and third-party inspectors. 3. Building networks with project teams, procurement, and design teams. 4. Supporting Management Representative in the effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS), including Non-Standard Certification (NSC). Cross-Functional Responsibilities: 1. Promoting employee engagement. 2. Adhering to safety policies. 3. Setting goals and conducting appraisals. 4. Participating in other management initiatives. Preferred Certifications: 1. Professional qualifications in Welding & Coating Inspector certifications (CSWIP, NACE, etc.). 2. QMS auditor certification (ISO 9001) is preferred. Professional membership in AWS, IIW, etc., will be highly valued. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international and national Quality systems such as ISO 9001, 19443, etc., and comprehensive knowledge of Quality requirements in an EPC company. Skills: 1. Staying updated on the latest trends in manufacturing (piping, equipment, welding, etc.). 2. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. 3. Proficiency in reporting and monitoring project status using computer software. Attitude & Personality: The ideal candidate should be extroverted, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel frequently for work-related purposes.,
