Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester) Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Must have skills : Automated Testing Good to have skills : Agile Testing Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve engaging with various teams to ensure that testing processes are integrated seamlessly, performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, and creating automation strategies that enhance the overall quality of the software being developed. You will also be responsible for supporting data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, and monitoring the testing process to identify areas for improvement. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Develop and implement automated testing scripts to enhance testing efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Terraform and Sentinel policies, as well as broader DevSecOps toolchain orchestration Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the development lifecycle Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing for infrastructure as code (IaC) and policy as code (PaC) implementations Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases by managing test schedules and resources effectively Identify and mitigate risks related to testing and quality assurance Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies Report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and practices Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing. Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile Testing. Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools. Experience in scripting languages for test automation. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Strong understanding of Terraform, Sentinel, and DevSecOps principles and practices Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) Experience with cloud platforms (esp. Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. This position is based at our Hyderabad office. A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification 15 years full time education
