Job Title: Quality Control Assistant – PLYWOOD MANUFACTERING ( LVL Production)

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Assistant will support the QC team in monitoring and maintaining product quality in the LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) production line. The role involves checking raw materials, monitoring production parameters, and ensuring the final product meets company and ISI quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in inspecting veneers, resin mix, and LVL panels during various stages of production.
• Record process parameters such as moisture content, thickness, temperature, and pressing time.
• Support in conducting basic quality tests (bonding strength, density, and dimensional accuracy).
• Maintain daily quality inspection reports and communicate non-conformities to the QC Manager.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and identification of approved and rejected materials.
• Help in monitoring adhesive preparation and glue spread rate during LVL production.
• Coordinate with production staff to maintain quality consistency as per set standards.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules in the QC and production areas.
• Assist during internal and external quality audits.
• Report any equipment malfunction or material quality issue immediately to superiors.

Key Skills:

• Basic understanding of plywood/LVL production process.
• Knowledge of quality inspection methods and tools.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Teamwork and communication ability.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Wood Technology or any wood/plywood-related course.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a plywood or LVL manufacturing unit.
• Freshers may also apply.
• Gender: Male candidates preferred.

Salary: Best in the industry (based on qualification and experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
