Quality Assurance Technical Engineer II

The company is looking for a Quality Assurance Tech II to join their team in Chennai on a contract basis for 8 months. As a Quality Assurance Tech II, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and stability of software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify, report, and resolve defects in order to contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Product Validation: Validate product behavior using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test tools, and automation frameworks provided by the team. - Test Execution: Conduct testing for software releases, including functional, regression, and system testing. - Defect Management: Identify, document, and report software defects in detail, providing clear descriptions, relevant screenshots, and gathering logs/traces for troubleshooting. - Reporting: Generate and share test reports with clear summaries of test results and product quality. - Defect Triage: Participate in defect triage meetings with developers to prioritize, analyze, and resolve identified issues. - Test Environment Maintenance: Regularly maintain and upkeep the test environment and other testing infrastructure components for optimal testing. Requirements for this position include: - 2-3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. - Strong experience with Selenium and Java for test automation. - Proven experience in testing on mobile devices (iOS and Android). - Good experience with deployment processes, specifically using Jenkins. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Immediate joiners preferred with shift timings from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
