Quality Assurance role for Clothing Brand

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Professional at our clothing brand, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality across our clothing line, with a specific focus on woven garments such as denims, trousers, jackets, blazers, and shirts. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the brand's quality standards at vendor locations through thorough inspections and quality management. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial, mid, and final inspections of goods at vendor factories following the AQL system and category-specific quality parameters. - Maintain and enforce garment quality standards at vendor sites in accordance with company guidelines for all bulk shipments. - Oversee timely approvals of fit samples, protos, size sets, and sealers, ensuring inspection comments are implemented through to bulk delivery. - Follow up with factories to ensure on-time production and bulk delivery meeting desired quality parameters. - Maintain detailed QC and inspection reports, communicate effectively with vendors, and provide regular updates to the Category Head. - Provide practical and cost-effective solutions to production-related quality issues in a timely manner. - Conduct inline and final inspections for woven garments, including denims, trousers, jackets, blazers, and shirts, for vendors in Delhi, NCR, and Ludhiana. - Execute pre-production approvals for fit samples, protos, and size sets, conducting on-site inspections at vendor facilities following the Brands SOPs and Quality Parameters. Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate degree preferably in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or related field. - Certification or formal training in Quality Assurance / Garment Inspections preferred. - Strong experience in garment inspections and AQL standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and production floor interaction. - Proficient in MS Excel, documentation, and email correspondence. - Basic understanding of fabrics, pattern making, garment construction, stitching, and finishing processes. - Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
