QA Automation Engineer (5–7 Years) – AI-First Quality Engineering

help engineers build, test, and release software faster. We’re looking for a QA Automation

Engineer who combines strong automation expertise with a passion for leveraging AI to

improve software quality.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Web, API, and backend

applications.

• Build automated regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.

• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate

test case creation, automation development, defect analysis, and documentation.

• Use AI to generate meaningful test scenarios, improve test coverage, and identify edge

cases.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and

quality strategies.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

• Perform exploratory testing for new features and validate AI-generated test scenarios.

• Analyze production issues and use AI-assisted debugging techniques to identify root

causes.

• Contribute to improving automation frameworks, engineering productivity, and release

quality.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in Software Testing with strong hands-on automation expertise.

• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

• Strong experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

• Good understanding of TestNG/JUnit and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure

DevOps.

• Strong SQL skills and experience validating data across relational databases.

• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

AI & Modern Engineering Expectations

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT,

Claude, or Gemini.

• Ability to use AI for:

• Test case generation and optimization.

• Automation script generation and refactoring.

• Synthetic test data creation.

• Defect analysis and root cause investigation.

• API contract validation.

• Documentation and release validation.

• Understanding of testing AI-enabled features, including prompt validation, LLM

integrations, and AI workflow testing, is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter, k6, or Gatling.

• Familiarity with security, accessibility, and visual regression testing.

• Knowledge of contract testing and service virtualization.
