Quality Assurance Engineer

The role

You'll work directly with the Management to make our testing smarter and more organized. You're also the person we turn to when something is unclear or broken, whether it comes from the team or from a client.

Responsibilities

• Test features end to end across the portals, desktop app and mobile apps, including results and reports.
• Reproduce issues reported by clients or the team. Find the exact steps, environment, logs and data behind each one.
• Write clear, complete bug reports that a developer can act on without asking follow-up questions.
• Test APIs and verify data directly in the database using SQL.
• Support client technical questions and issues alongside the team: investigate, explain, or escalate with full context.
• Create and maintain test cases in Jira (Zephyr), linked to requirements.
• Prepare clear QA status reports for management.
• Help grow our automation (Playwright) and AI-assisted testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience on web applications.
• Strong SQL: joins, filters, aggregations, and checking that the data is correct.
• Hands-on API testing (REST, authentication, status codes, Postman or similar), and comfort with browser DevTools.
• A proven ability to write bug reports that others can reproduce.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Strong written English and calm, clear communication with clients.
• Comfortable working in Jira.

Nice to have

• Playwright or Selenium.
• Desktop or mobile app testing on Windows and macOS.
• Reading application and server logs.
• Experience with edtech, exam or LMS products (such as Canvas).
• Awareness of basic security testing.
• Daily use of AI tools, with the habit of verifying their output.
